About Erica

Erica is a BAFTA- nominated documentary director and producer, with years of experience making films that give people a voice. She has filmed and directed documentaries for both major UK and US broadcasters, including the BBC, Channel 4 and HBO.

Her film ‘SAUDI WOMEN’S DRIVING SCHOOL’ premiered on HBO on 24th October 2019 and is available on Amazon Prime. Named as one of 17 inspiring films to watch on International Women’s Day 2022

In 2022, Erica has finished series directing a three-part series on GHISLAINE MAXWELL for C4/ Starz which has been shortlisted for the Rose d’Or Awards in Documentary.

Her most recent film was with Hollywood actress Keira Knightley as she explored her family history in World War Two – her first factual programme for TV.

Britain’s ‘Virginity’ Clinics Uncovered Clinics (ITV Exposure)

The BAFTA-winning ITV Exposure strand examines the lucrative trade capitalising upon myths surrounding women’s virginity and goes undercover to investigate the clinics making money from so-called virginity testing and repair procedures that campaigners condemn as a violation of human rights.

Saudi Women’s Driving School (HBO)

Filmed and directed rare access in Saudi Arabia, following the lives of women there learning to drive for the first time.
